What a quaint little place … unpretentious and down to earth. We were welcomed and made to feel comfortable and both ordered the chicken korma which was delicious. Very creamy and tasty. We really enjoyed the Bombay Crushes as well and the service was great. Looking forward to trying the buffet on a Sunday!

We ordered a hot lamb on the bone Roganjosh curry and a mild butter chicken curry, and the food was executed perfectly. The best portion of lamb curry and butter chicken. So much flavour, portions were prefect and it is real value for money. I am ordering the same again tonight

Very nice menu, made Indian hot, but I prefer with a bit more heat Really awesome menu, large portions and prices are good. I recommend this to people who eat meat, Liefie loved his Lamb Madras. They cater for vegetarians too like me

I am originally from India, living in Cape Town for 2 years, and Indian express is as close as it gets for authentic tasty Indian food. With a detailed menu to choose from starters to main course to mouth watering street food. Very humble, polite and ever smiling staff always make you feel welcome. It’s a hidden gem, and having tried Indian food from all top Indian restaurants, Indian express always comes in top 2 for me, alongside Bombay Brasserrie at Taj. Reasonable pricing however gives it an edge!

Very few places so far I have marked 5 out of 5, in my food journey.. Indian Express is a growing Brand, but the quality of food, and staff, 5 out of 5. The taste has not been altered for South African Pallet. ITS, Authentic. You will enjoy without the doubt.

Food was very good and very attentive and helpful staff. As the rules say, the better the location the worse the food and the worse location the better the food. So strange location but great food
